 A fine Victorian (ca. 1860)  mahogany extending dining table with 9 leaves on acanthus carved cabriole legs

  An important mid 19th century gilt elaborate Salon Table base with floral and pierced apron with vine and
  garlands raised on 8 legs with swags united by cross stretchers with finials. The specimen marble top with
  120 various semi precious/hard stones set in gilded brass frame. Provenance Ruthin Castle Denbigshire where

  it stood in “The Grande Salon” for 160 years. Ruthin Castle dates from before 1277,  which formed part of
  the Crown estate until sold by Charles I in 1632.
